This pair is copied from an original found in the Upper Hudson River Valley & will accept a strap of 1 3/8″. The overall dimensions are 2 1/8″ by 2 3/4″. In New Jersey in 1776 a male servant ran away with “old shoes with carved buckles”. The color of the interior prongs may vary.
