This pinball is hand knit on 0000 needles with “Trifle For A Friend” on one side with a honey bee on the other which is brilliant with the golden honey color. In The Proceedings of the Old Bailey in a theft trial in 1784 London it was recorded, “SIMON ALLEN was indicted for feloniously stealing . . . one pincushion, value one halfpeny, one needle book, value one halfpenny”.
