Made in England
One yard and 8" long remnant.
Brown worsted lace was used as trim on civilian clothing. In 1766, in The Virginia Gazette, "RUN away . . . four convict servant men (ENGLISHMEN) . . . [one of them] by trade a baker . . . had on when he went away . . . double-milled drab coloured broadcloth breeches bound with worsted binding". Brown 35/2 linen thread match this tape well.
