Made in England
7/8" (22mm)
This width works well for the bottom binding of wool petticoats or the binding on Cloaks. Brown worsted lace was used as trim on civilian clothing. In 1766, in The Virginia Gazette, "RUN away . . . four convict servant men (ENGLISHMEN) . . . [one of them] by trade a baker . . . had on when he went away . . . double-milled drab coloured broadcloth breeches bound with worsted binding". Brown 35/2 linen thread match this tape well.
